How my journey began
My journey to being a therapist was not always a clearly defined one. I found myself feeling lost after graduating from Ball State with a degree in Anthropology, minoring is Psychology; the only things I knew with absolute certainty - I wanted to continue learning and growing through higher education and that I had a knack for offering empathy, understanding, and hope to those who looked to me for support.
I’m not sure if I found therapy or if therapy somehow found me while I was busy trying to prove myself, being my own worst critic, and struggling to understand my purpose in this oh-so-big world. When I finally stopped looking outward for the answers I wanted, I was able to look inward for the simple answers I needed: I am not alone,
I am capable of curating the life and happiness I want,
and I can help others find the courage to change their lives.
Working in private practice allows my to be creative, innovative, and client focused. I am confident that my journey has led my to exactly where I am suppose to be. And the best part, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
